Information about product returns
If you wish to return a product, please contact us at info@verdia.ro. This way we can discuss the details of the return process.
According to OUG 34/2014, only unused products can be returned. Make sure the product is in the same condition as upon receipt, in the original packaging, with intact labels and accompanied by proof of payment.
In this case, please send us an email at info@verdia.ro with your product return request. Specify in the email the IBAN account where you want to receive the product value.
The value of the returned product will be refunded to your bank account within a maximum of 14 days from receiving the product and processing the return.
The shipping cost of the package with returned products is fully supported by the customer if the return is due to a change of mind by the customer. If the return is requested due to product non-compliance or an error (defective item or incorrect delivery), the shipping and handling fees of the returned product are paid by Verdia®, except when the customer has explicitly chosen a different type of transport than the standard delivery offered by Verdia®.
According to OUG 34/2014, the following products cannot be returned:
Food products that can deteriorate or expire quickly
Food products that have been unsealed by the consumer, for health protection or hygiene reasons
Food products that have been stored in inappropriate conditions after delivery (e.g., exposed to heat sources, excessive humidity, direct light, etc.)
Products that show damage caused by incorrect handling or storage by the customer
Products returned without the original label or whose packaging/cap has been damaged
If you received damaged products due to the store's fault, those products can be refunded. Returned products must be accompanied by proof of payment
Transport costs are supported by Verdia®
Refund means restitution of the product value or replacement of damaged products
If the products delivered by us are not those from your order, contact us for replacing the received products with the correct ones, and the costs of this return process will be supported by Verdia®.
If the delivered product has quality defects (e.g., leaks, broken or damaged packaging), we assume full responsibility for delivering a non-conforming product. Thus, the consumer has the right to request either product replacement or full refund of its value, including transport costs related to the return.
Reports must be submitted within 72 hours of receiving the package, accompanied by proof of purchase and, if possible, relevant images.
In the case of products returned as part of a promotion that included free shipping, if the return occurs for reasons not related to product quality or any order non-compliance, the costs related to the return will be supported by the customer. Also, in the situation where the product is returned with damaged packaging or has been handled inappropriately, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to reduce the value of the returned amount, proportionally to the damage found.
